Terms of Service

1. What TripBuddy is

TripBuddy is a service that connects people who want to travel together (crew and family trips). We let you post trips, join them and get in touch with other users. The service is operated by Monika Dąbrowska (sole trader, NIP 7352887773), contact: [email protected].

2. Who can use it

• You must be an adult (18 or older) to create an account.
• You provide truthful information and keep your password confidential.
• One person runs one account.

3. Rules of use

When using the service, you must not:

• post unlawful, offensive or misleading content, or spam;
• impersonate others;
• use the service for unlawful purposes or contrary to its purpose;
• violate the rights and privacy of other users.

4. Trips and liability - IMPORTANT

TripBuddy is only a place that connects people. We are not a trip organiser, a travel agency, or a party to any arrangements between users. We are not responsible for how trips go, their safety or outcomes, or for the behaviour and trustworthiness of users.

Deciding to travel together and to contact other people is your own responsibility - use common sense and caution, as you would when meeting people online.

The trip costs feature is purely informational - it helps calculate who owes whom. TripBuddy does not process any payments, does not hold money and is not responsible for settlements between users.

5. User content

You keep the rights to content you post (e.g. photos, descriptions) and are responsible for it. By posting it, you agree to it being shown to other users as part of running the service.

6. Ratings and moderation

Users can rate each other after a shared trip and report abuse. We may remove content and block or delete accounts that break these terms or the law.

7. Testing version (beta)

The service is provided as a test version, "as is". It may have downtime, change, or be shut down, and test data may be reset. We give no warranty of continuity or fitness for a particular purpose.

8. Deleting your account

You can delete your account any time in profile settings. We may close an account that breaks these terms.

11. Final provisions

Matters not covered here are governed by Polish law. We may change these terms - we will announce material changes in the service or by email.
